Topic: Top Instrumental songs? Posted: October 29 2007 at 21:05 |
Well make a list of your favorite instrumental songs!
I thought about excluding instrumental bands, but I guess we'll keep them.
I'll make one later cause I'm hungry.

King Crimson's instrumental work is really great, along with Coltrane Sündïa, and just about every song Pat Metheny's ever written.

Micky will love you for that... It's his favourite ELP track! f I realise it sounds a bit pedantic, but an instrumental can't really be a song... Where is the singing? OK, back to my own preferences... I do love instrumentals, so I have many preferences. I'll try to mention a few here off the top of my head, in no particular order: ELP- The Barbarian High Tide - Death Warmed Up Rush - La Villa Strangiato/ Leave that Thing Alone/ The Main Monkey Business Camel - Lunar Sea Caravan - L'Auberge du Sanglier Jethro Tull - Living in the Past (instrumental version) King Crimson - Larks' Tongues in Aspic I & II/Fracture/Discipline/The Sheltering Sky/Level5

WOW! I love this song so much, it's like 2 minutes of perfection. Totally awesome. King Diamond - InsanityWhat a beautiful and emotional song. Definitely one of my favorites. Rush - La Villa Strangiato / YYZ / Malignant Narcissism / The Main Monkey Business
I like all of them so much. Frank Zappa - Peaches En Regalia
BRILLIANT! Focus - Hocus Pocus
This song rocks. And also: Camel - Rhayader.. ... and Hoedown by ELP
