I like PC games, but it seems requirements are raised too often, so I don't get the chance to play some games that look really good, like The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion (I'd much rather play this on PC than Xbox 360). |

I have such an old machine, I've yet to play Neverwinter Nights 2, which I know I'll buy, once I know I can play on my own PC. Until then, I'll have to make do with Neverwinter Nights.
I do have Morrowind on this PC, it runs a bit slow. I'm not that keen on the game though, really. |

I, on the other hand, can't stand PC games... Hate using the keyboard, the mouse, seems so unnatural...(well, as "natural" as games can go anyway) and having to sit in an uncomfortable chair instead of in a couch or in bed....also, the fact that with PC games you have to keep updating your PC as every hour 5969696 new useless things are created (things I have to pretend are actually useful where I work, to sell to customers )... well, all of these brings me to console games....

I started playing another RPG classic for SNES a few days ago.
And what the hell, nobody except Bow looks even remotely similar to the sprites.

Well, we PC gamers do have things like control pads and joysticks ... but I couldn't imagine playing games like Half-Life or Counter-Strike with them. Keyboard + mouse is the *perfect* choice of controls for these games. BTW: I urge every console gamer who also has a decent computer (something like 3000+, 1GB RAM, Nvidia7xxx/ATI19xx graphics card) to check out the Orange Box which has been mentioned earlier ... it's simply too good to miss, and you get *three* high quality games for the price of one. 5 if you count Half-life 2 and Episode 1
I've been playing Team Fortress 2 since I preordered the Orange Box (beta access) and it's safe to say that I'm completely addicted to it and it's probably the best online game around at the moment in my opinion. |

I've been fiddling around with Nintendo DS emulators lately and none of them really work on my PC. Loading a game (any) either makes the PC restart or the emulator to close after a "failure". I don't think my PC will be be able to play any PC games either, it's got old by now. But that's fine, I am cool with replaying the same RPGs over and over with a bit of Tekken thrown in.

I downloaded the Crysis demo earlier today and it is excellent, I'm really looking forward to the full version, but it does eat computers for breakfast.

I'm gonna go pick up a copy of Shivering Isles for Oblivion later (It came out on disc for Xbox 360). I've been playing Halo sporadically and making weird game types. |

I also bought an old PS2 game called PRIMAL for 9.98 (no tax). It's fun but slow, and I love slow games. My only complaint is that Jen, the protagonist, annoys the hell outta me!
