Baris Manco,Erkin Koray,Cem Karaca,Mogollar,3 Hürel,Selda,Edip Akbayram,Fikret Kizilok,Ersen (and Dadaslar) (but stick with the '70's, and 'early 80's!) |

^^^ you remember those two killer live tracks which Cleo sent us on the unreleased Zeuhl compilation? I'm pretty sure this would be those tracks. Well that's what I though anyway. Some of my favourite Eider material (though a little rough on the edges).
p.s. seen two Godard films so far, Breathless and Masculine-Feminine, the latter of the two was captivating (I was quite taken with Chantal Goya ;) , loved it! |

Hi BV, I'm aware of the 2 tracks but it doesn't constitute its own listing surely!?
Chantal Goya was a real cutie yep! Love 'Laisse-Moi' from Masculin Feminin. Not quite in the France Gall league but still smokin'

yeah it probably shouldn't be listed, especially since it is a bootleg Wow, I see you what you mean, I found they have quite a similar demeanor! I will check out some of the other youtube clips soon. |

You can't go wrong with any of France Gall in the 60s. This is as good a compilation as any

1. MDK (Magma)
2. Eros (Dun) 3. Kobaia (Magma) 4. Angherr Shisspa (Koenjihyakkei) 5. Esameron (Runaway Totem) I've only heard 7 zeuhl albums in total, so this list is the product of a very limited view. (And both MDK and Eros are mindblowing!!!) |

Yeah, Kobaia is awesome (almost 5 stars) but I would suggest you try and get a copy of Eros. That is mind-blowing, if you ask me. Also, if I'm not mistaken, there are many, MANY better magma studio albums than Kobaia (just ask Jake). But yes, Kobaia is pretty awesomely sickly ill.

Yeah, I'm not a big fan of Kobaia, I much prefer MDK, Kohntarkosz, Wurdah Itah, K.A., Udu Wudu, Attahk, and 1001 Degrees.

For my tastes, I've found Zeuhl to be the most consistently good category at this site. I have so many great Zeuhl albums. If you haven't heard Eskaton yet, I suggest you pick up their albums next -- starting with 4 Visions.
And that Pascal Duffard album mentioned earlier in the thread immediately became a favourite. |
