hey im yoel
and im new to this site
i live in london which is conveniant because i get to see loads of awesome prog bands because everyone plays london!
my favourite prog bands [in no order]

thankyou for welcoming me so nicely

yes i love mastodon-i have all their albums and was lucky enough to see them with metallica at wembley a couple months ago-despite having to sit through the torture that was HIM-that was a great day :D
By the way, i dont think i said my age, im 16 years old

Nice... Raff and I saw  Mastodon  in June with Iron Maiden, Motorhead, and ..some other group ..oh yeah Machine Head DeadLOL  Had heard of them here but had never heard them, but they made instant fans of us both.

haha, i also saw machine head, except  with mastodon and metallica
i hadnt heard much either but aesthetics of hate made me a fan
they are very good live
also could you tell me how i can improve my start and rise from newbie status?

Machine Head didn't exactly impress us LOL

as far as improving newbie status..  it is simply a matter of the number of posts... soon you wil hit groupie.. and if I remember right.. at 100 you become a 'senior member'

Don't worry, when you reach 50 posts you'll become a Groupie, and a Senior Member after 100. The coveted four-star can only be reached by promotion - that is, becoming a Prog Reviewer or a Collaborator.
