Damn Ravens!!!!!!!!!

Always a nail biter and always down to the last minute.....but at least they keep it interesting.

I was so upset during the first quarter I nearly screamed myself hoarse, the wife had to repeatedly tell me to calm down.........3 consecutive lost fumbles!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sams injured,McNair hurt, and if Lewis tore his tricep he is going to miss some games.

That punt return for a td by Ed Reed was pretty sweet.

It's a horrible injury, but at the same time a horrible reality of the game. These players have got to stop leading with their head when it comes to tackling. It's such a shame.

In about an hour we will see how my Ravens play against a tough division rival,I can't wait for game time!!!!

haha...Love him, he was the offense man. And he was the best RB in Giants history IMO. Just mad at his retirement.
And I'm doing some work right now, but last I saw McNair messed up a hand off to McGahee... Confused

I'm sorry if it's been mentioned but  what about Everett? I hear that he'll probably be paralyzed....Cry I know it's part of the game, but still.....horiffic.

Well Eli played well. In fact I thought he did pretty damn good...too bad the defense was so poor....
I think Eli will have a good year, but he can't carry the team.
Speaking of which, I see Brandon Jacobs is expected to be out 3-5 weeks. Angry

When things rain they pour....

F*cking Tiki Barber     leaving the team in their time of need.
I knew it was all because of Coughlin. I mean, he could of put up 1500 yards again I say.

Raiders go down by 17 then go ahead 21-20 only to fall behind 26-21 then turn the ball over twice inside the 30 and Lions win.  I have had enough.  Hey E-Dub at least your kicker made a field goal.  BTW is that Justin Medlock?  He was automatic the last two years at UCLA.

Sure is...and we've already released him. He was very inconsistent in the preseason, so one wonders what happened between college and the pros. Listening to the radio today and they said that he's been cut, but his locker hasn't been cleaned out.

I feel bad for the kid.

I could never understand why the Raiders picked Janokowski in the first round in 2000.To pick a kicker that high up in the draft was not only unthinkable, but laughable.

I take that back, GW. It'll be a battle for last place. Detroit? Maybe they're a lot better this year. I think every team in the NFC north won yesterday.

E

Bears lost.

My bad. Wishful thinking, considering they were playing an AFC West team.

Happy with the Cowboys' win but also very glad that time ran out or both teams would still be scoring TDs at will.  Dallas has drafted nothing but defense for the last 5 years and I'm wondering where they are.  Not surprised about Houston.  They've got a great attitude down there and they will surprise a lot of teams this year.

Jaworkski is a great improvement, but Kornheiser is just horrible. The guy has the personality of broccoli.

The problem with "powder puff" schedules is that sometimes by mid-season some of those previously pitiful teams are on a roll and the tough-looking teams are wallowing in injuries or finger-pointing.  That's what makes parity a trip.  How great is it that there's a full schedule of games tomorrow?  Yes!  And thank the Lord that Theisman is off of Monday Night Football finally.  Now I can watch the games with the sound on!

Once again, the Colts have a cream puff schedule, especially the 2nd half of the season. Angry  Biggest test for them will be Pats and Chargers back to back.  I'd be surprised if the Colts do worse than 13-3.

Well, I'm just happy to root for the Pats as they will be in the hunt again.  Look for either them, the Colts, or the Chargers to beat whatever the NFC throws their way (probably the Saints).

Any fan of an AFC team around my age or older can't help but smile a little at the AFC dominance of late, after so many years in the 80s and 90s where the NFC was the dominant conference.
