Do you have Live? If so, do people still play it?

Star Ocean for SNES. It was only released in Japan, but thanks to emulation I can play a fan-translated version. Pretty cool game, it's no Final Fantasy or Chrono Trigger, but the graphics are awesome even today and the battle system is cool.
And then this for SNES: my favorite in the trilogy PS: this pic rocks makes me want to play Zelda Edited by Bluesaga - August 18 2007 at 13:22 |

I'm just getting into Call of Duty 2 again, picking up where I left off in the British campaign. I have to say, it makes you feel like part of something bigger. After one of my guys get shot, I'll usually do a Rambo charge into a house and kill about 10 people singlehandedly.
I also rented Blazing Angels: Squadrons of WW2 for this weekend. Looks fun.

Hot. I'll continue being the stalwart for niche Nintendo DS titles: I just picked up Rune Factory: A Fantasy Harvest Moon on release date, and I can't get enough of it. I never dug Harvest Moon before, but it takes that, beefs up the engine, triples the depth, adds the most gorgeous, organic graphics I've seen in the series, adds an entire action/RPG aspect to the game, and takes away the previous limitations. It's probably my current favorite, and I haven't touched another game since I started this one |

I heard that was really good, I think my brother is going to get it so I'll play it at some point. My brother has Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne, and that game is awesome. |

Me and my wife are huge Harvest Moon fans, and were very disappointed with Harvest Moon DS.I have heard nothing but great things about Rune Factory and am definitely going to pick up a copy tomorrow.

Also....some poetic video game justice on Madden 08.In my last pre-season game playing as the Ravens against the Falcons Michael Vick sustained a injury(complete ACL tear) and the injury was career ending.
I have only seen that twice before in Madden games. The last time for me was LaDanian Tomlison on Madden 06,same injury, complete ACL tear and it was also career ending.

I'm a HUGE Harvest Moon addict myself. I've recently been playing Friends of Mineral Town (more or less a GBA port of the PSX Harvest Moon game) a lot lately. Hearing that Rune Factory is good makes this is one of the few times I regret not having a DS.

I agree that 64 was the best one, but I've played so many "years" in that game that I'm a little tired of it. It's a Wonderful Life was the Gamecube one, right?

IaWL was also on PS2.Right now my wife is heavily wrapped up in Harvest Moon:Magical Melody on GC.She hogs that game so much I haven't even had a chance to play it yet!!!!!!
I think the only truly bad HM game was HM:Save the Homeland on PS2.I couldn't stand it.

Harvest Moon 64 was really cool back in the day, actually, I kind of forgot about that series until seeing the above posts.

This game took way too much unnecessary crap from reviewers, in my opinion. It really is awesome. Incredibly easy and fluid controls. Highly recommended for any WW2/Aviation fan! Edited by Chameleon - August 19 2007 at 23:34 |
