I recently bought this album as I only recently started getting into Floyd and save for the outlining tracks Pigs on the Wing 1 + 2, I can't decide which is better as I love all the remaining middle tracks. But to avoid people saying "Where are the first and last tracks?" I included them for kicks.

So now I wish to know of you, which is your personal fave? I'll join in later once I decide!!! LOL

I have to go with Dogs, the guitar is fantastic.  I still listen to Animals a few times a month - to me, it represents the peak of PF (Dogs and Sheep were written in 1975, and played live during the Wish You Were Here tour).

I've already seen this poll at least twice, but I guess voting once more won't hurt me. I like Pigs (Three Different Ones) best. It has a great melody and mentions Margaret Thatcher (even though it says mean things about her)

I think Dogs (and i vote it), but Pigs on the wing 1&2 are cool!!! This is one of PF's worst, in my opinion...

If someone was to ask me, what is my best album, this would be it. Althouth DSOTM I think is the more landmark album that set me on the course of prog indulgence, this still remains on top!

As for the best track - Sheep. So bitter, so brilliant. But arent they all??

I chose Dogs,( Great lyrics. Great Gimour solo) but credit must be due to Pigs. I still dig that gritty vibe,Cool

This was a little harder than I thought, but I voted "Dogs", because of ...well...it's awesomeness. hahahaha.  I actually like that album a great deal.  I like all the tracks on it, but I think "Dogs" is the one that I've often stopped and started from the beginning again because of parts that are just stunningly beautiful.

Animals is one of my PF favourites with The Wall and WYWH. Is one of those albums that you canīt skip a track (yeah, even the 2 Pigs On The Wing). I Love the whole album, but after thinking it twice, i voted Dogs

"Dogs" is the standout track here.

OK, I managed to decide after a couple listens on the old CD player...

So as much as I love the sheer brilliance of Dogs and the excellent guitar work on Pigs AND the twistedness of Sheep I like Pigs on the Wing... Just kidding, Sheep is the one that captured me the most for no other reason than... ...I'm not sure. I just love it.

Oh, and to StyLaZyn if you're reading. I've been away for quite some time so didn't realise I was copying a recent poll.

I get a chill in my spine when I hear some fast instrumental sections from "Sheep". "Dogs" don't do it for me.
