Stewart. Both are excellent, but the first is the best.

Stewart. I've always hated Colbert.

as much as I love Stewart, I believe colbert is rapidly eclipsing him. However, I belive they only work as a pair, because they compliment one another. Colbert biting satirical barbs are offset by Stewart's frank commentary. It's a sad commentary on news channels when the fake news shows give you more useful information than real channels like CNN

I love The Colbert Report. Stephen is one of the funniest guys I've seen! I always have a blast watching his show.

I'll vote for the Colbert Report. Stewart is hilarious when he does monologues, but I've never liked him playing the straight man against his (often annoying) correspondants.

I voted neither, they are both a waste of air-space to me.

At the moment I enjoy Jon Stewart more, but I think The Colbert Report is getting a lot better.

Stephen Colbaaaair, his discussions with Bill O'Reilly were priceless (well, Mr. Oreilly, you may not always be right but you're always louder, and isn't that what really counts?)
Stewert is great too, he just doesn't have that clever, satirical spin that is Colbert's trademark.

I find Stewart's show to have more information, but Colbert's to be funnier. Both are great though.

I hate to say this, but Jon Stewart is fairly boring. His humor is just way too...well, modern. Very Ben Stiller or Will Ferrel-esque. Stephen Colbert has a little of that, but he also does verbal humor that is almost as good as the Marx Brothers, and his dead-pan illogic evokes the great British satirists of yore (If you have heard of Beyond the Fringe, you know what I mean).
Plus, I hate the Daily Show correspondents. They seem to be a one-trick pony.
All the same: Stewart gets major kudos for taking down Crossfire.

^^^ Indeed; Stewart has some decent jokes when he is just "reporting" the news, but those segments where he says the set-up dialog and a "correspondent" returns with a punchline are really cheesy, and rarely funny.

Even though Colbert acts like a deuche bag (i probably didn't spell that right) sometimes, i like his show.
