This is a professional retailer ready album. So don't feel threatened by its placement in the "Get the word out" section. It actually deserves to be under the "Prog News" section. If it pains you to believe me then please purchase the album and prove me wrong!

Hey guys,

Tower Records Podcast has posted an interview with me discussing the making of my epic concept album "Dissonance Rising". If you want to hear some of the music off the album as well as how it was made please check it out.

Also, be sure to rate the podcast so it jumps up the rankings. I'm hoping this helps generate some CD sales or at least some genuine interest in the album.

If you just want to go buy the album then visit : http://cdbaby.com/cd/claywithrow

Enjoy friends!

Hey friends,

I wanted to let everyone know that my new album "Dissonance Rising" is available for purchase from most online retailers and digital distribution outlets. So far the release has garnered only positive response and I definitely encourage everyone to check it out. I'm trying as hard as possible to get the word out and hopefully stimulate sales. That's where I need your help friends. If you like what you hear please spread the word. We have thousands of CDs ready to ship and are willing to get review copies into the right hands. The CD only costs $10.00 unless you decide to purchase from Amazon, where it is $12.97. The advantage here is it is listed with other major releases. For the first three members who purchase the album I will send a free CW T-shirt your way.

The Buzz
The Norman Transcript proclaimed Clay Withrow as "an artist who isn't afraid to make intense, expressive, complex creations" while Metal To Infinity described the album as having a "perfect dose of progressive, melodic and expressive metal." EQ contributor Garrett Haines described Dissonance Rising as "a work that grows deeper with each additional listen, be sure to check out this latest work from Oklahoma’s Clay Withrow."
Metal To Infinity scored the album 97 out of 100 and compared the sound to artists like Pink Floyd and Genesis. "Millions", a track from the album, has been played on the Preying Lizard Podcast every week since it's release.

A little history
Dissonance Rising was recorded on a 24-bit 24-track DAW in my home studio using some rather unusual methods for tracking. I'm proud to say the results are astounding. Sound quality easily stands up to most major releases from prog rock labels.
