Great.! I got Freedoom is Frightening and The Man From the East. Both brilliant. Any reason the latter album's not included in discography? Not prog? |

Rico added, before Geck0, Adam Certamen Bownik and Eppie E. Hulshof into prog electro.
The last one is definately interesting for Schulze fans and rhytmic vibe sequencing. |

Forgotten Silence in metal (for those who like some adventureness in their quite extreme metal, check out Ka Ba Ach).
Shining* in Avant. The two last albums, Grindstone (2007) and In The Kingdom Of Kitsch You Will Be A Monster are recommended as albums who cross styles, are heavy and aggressive and present various layers in the music, representing another degree of complexity to their music.

Sorry James , totally missed that [I will blame it on too little sleep]. I still have only heard that live recording from somtime in '83. But if their studio is as good as that recording, I'm sold [probably not atm as I don't have any money].

I have that recording... I need to hear it!
Good call, I'll listen to it now. No worries, Adam, it seemed to go over everybody's radar. Not a bad band at all and they're darker than Cartoon, that's for sure. |

I think that is a big problem with our genre [and may others], if a person doesn't have an active interest in the genre they tend to get forgotten .

By the way, PFS are the same band as Pure f**king Space I presume?
It's just I cannot find any reference to PFS being called that... all I get are links to a shoegazer band and PFS aren't a shoegazer band... Edited by Geck0 - May 23 2007 at 19:43 |

If you ordered online (which you don't), you could get their album for $4 from Wayside Music. Interesting... just started listening to that live tape of theirs... it's quite different so far. I still think you'll enjoy the album though. Edited by Geck0 - May 23 2007 at 19:47 |

From talking to my friend a little while ago I think it is what PFS stands for. Don't quote me on this though. It could have been an early name they had for themselves, considering the recording is from late '83!
I would be interested to hear from someone more knowledgable than I on the subject. Can you remember where this came from, I'm thinking either Claire or Mutant Sounds? |
