The rambling mess that is the "White Album" - only about 50% of it is really any good - which 50% is anybody's call. I always skip "Rocky Racoon", "Why Don't We Do It In The Road", "Honey Pie", "Don't Pass Me By" - and if I never hear "Ob-la-di, Ob-la-lar-de-dah" it'll be too soon.
 
The others, "Pepper" apart, are a lot more coherent - and "Magical Mystery Tour" is now officially my favourite (my MFSL half-speed high quality recording arrived today Big%20smile).

and let's not forget greats such as 'Mother Nature's Son'..

..but seriously, TWA is a fun, great sounding album that continued their tradition of rule breaking with relish (it was actually criticized for being "unprofessional" , and thank God it was). Probably the best Beatles party album.. great stuff.

I'm a big "white album" fan. Probably my favourite.......we'll see.
