GREAT POLL!!!
THIS IS VERY DIFFICULT!!! I HAVE ALL THE ALBUMS LISTED HERE, AND I LOVE THEM ALL.
ANYWAY, I VOTED FOR ALPHATAURUS.
I would like to add other bands that released only one album in the '70s, besides MUSEO ROSENBACH, LA LOCANDA DELLE FATE and MURPLE that aren't in this poll:
- ABISSI INFINITI - "Tunnel" (1981)
- ALBERGO INTERGALATTICO SPAZIALE - "Same" (1978)
- ALBERO MOTORE - "Il Grande Gioco" (1974)
- GLI ALISEI - "Same" (1979)
- ANONIMA SOUND LTD - "Red Tape Machine" (1972)
- GLI APOSTOLI - "Un' Isola Senza Sole" (1972)
- ATLANTIDE - "Francesco Ti Ricordi" (1975)
- BAMBIBANDA E MELODIE - "Same" (1974)
- BEIA COME ABA - "Same" (1979)
- BLOCCO MENTALE - "POA" (1972)
- BOOM - "I Boom" (1973)
- CAPITOLO 6 - "Frutti Per Kagua" (1972)
- CAPSICUM RED - "Appunti Per Un' Idea Fissa" (1972)
- FABIO CELI E GLI INFERMIERI - "Follia" (1973)
- CERVELLO - "Melos" (1973)
- CHERRY FIVE - "Same" (1974)
- CINCINNATO - "Same" (1974)
- CITTA' FRONTALE - "El Tor" (1975)
- DE DE LIND - "Io Non So Da Dove Vengo..." (1973)
- DUELLO MADRE - "Same" (1973)
- ERA D' ACQUARIO - "Antologia" (1973)
- ESAGONO - "Vicolo" (1976)
- ETNA - "Etna" (975)
- EXPLOIT - "Crisi" (1972)
- FESTA MOBILE - "Diario Di Viaggio Della Festa Mobile" (1973)
- FLEA - "Topi O Uomini" (1972)
- FLEA ON THE HONEY - "Same" (1971)
- GENFUOCO - "Dentro L' Invisibile" (1979)
- GEN VERDE - "Il Mondo In Una Casa" (1979)
- IL GIRO STRANO - "La Divina Commedia" (1972)
- I GLEEMEN - "Same" (1970)
- GRUPPO 2001 - "L' Alba Di Domani" (1972)

Thanks, Andrea
OK now let me take notes. eh, lets see...Abissi Infiniti........Gli Alisei........Capitolo 6.......Heh, De De Lind, I forgot to include it as well,..........Gen Verde.........I Teoremi.
OK noted, I will try my best to track them down and listen to them.
You say you own all of the list I wrote in the options and plus know all of these. Are you like the vault keeper of Italian Prog or something?

Museo Rosenbach released 1 "formal" album, but their "Rare and Unreleased" album was issued in 1992. Mostly pop/proto-prog stuff- likely not to find much adoration among most here.
My vote goes to Flea- Topo O Uomini
A few missed that come to mind:
I Raminghi- Il Lungo Cammino dei Raminghi (1971) Implosion- s/t (1988) Sangiulano- Take Off (1978) - if solo albums are taken into consideration

Many many wonderful records, Assaf! Even the forgotten Murple.
I have to go with the Maxophone album which is the most varied and complex work of the all mentioned above!
|
EDIT: MAXOPHONE is EXCEPTIONAL!!!
"Io Sono Murple" is one of my consumption dreams... |
One year later I'd like to say that I got MURPLE...
Now if I had to vote it should be a tie with MAXOPHONE!

and Metamorfosi's "Inferno"? their "Paradiso" is a recent stuff and sounds to me only a cash album.
But my vote goes to Museo's zaratustra
