These are two somewhat similar albums.  I think they are both amazing albums.

It's a tie for me, so I'll vote for Eskaton to even it up a bit.

Dun and the Eros album is one of the few Zeuhl albums I really adore,so I picked Dun.

That's because you are not used to slightly weird music.....

I simply don't feel anything particularly profound in 4 Visions, though I do enjoy the album a lot nonetheless.  Eros, however, has always struck me as a prime example of a masterpiece - still not the best in the Zeuhl universe though.

Both albums are fantastic, but I vote for Dun's as one of the very best one-off albums.  That makes it extra special to me. On the other hand, Eskaton is great and this is my favourite album of theirs... I can derive equal enjoyment from both, really.  Too bad there's no both option.

Fortunately, this site has a streamimg mp3 off 4 Visions at the band's page (very energetic music, but some beautiful passages in the album), as well as Eros for those that are unfamiliar with the music.  Some who have heard only one or neither should check these links out.   It gives an idea. When I've made polls in the past, I've sometimes tried to encourage more participation by linking to such mp3s -- then people could vote based on those alone.

Think i might have chosen the "Eskaton" track to showcase 4 Visions myself, but I like "Attente" pretty equally. As for Eros, "Arrakis" is a great track.

Here's the Eskaton one: CLICK
And Dun's: CLICK

Eskaton is great but is, of course, going to sound too derivative of Magma for some, though.  But thenI guess there aren't that many Magma-haters who are big fans of Zeuhl generally. LOL

Eskaton's the most uniquesounding one, so I'll vote for that. Both are five-star masterpieces, and among my favorite albums.

But don't believe in me
Don't believe in me
