Yes - Don't Kill The Whale.  The video for this song is just horrid haha
Gentle Giant - Giant For A Day.  Total cheese rocker, but it rules!

Like the original post says, "What is the lamest song by a prog band that you are ashamed to like."

But wait! What about its Deeply Sensitive Middle Section?

While I like the song for the most part, I wouldn't want my friends to know I like listening to it, no less that the mighty Progressive Genesis. I'd have trouble pleading my case of their awesomeness with HtB playing. And it really doesn't fit well with the other songs. Maybe it's the placement of the song on the album.

The last part of Symphony X's "The Odyssey", I think it's called "Death of the Suitors/Champion of Ithaca", and it has the most delightfully cheesy chorus ever!
"Triuuuuuumphant, champion of Ithaca!"

But in general, I find the cheese factor in Symphony X to be tastefully(tasteful cheese!) balanced with the quality of their music.

And oh! How can I forget.... "Dawn of Victory" by Rhapsody! Absolutely love it! Big%20smile

Indeed.  Perhaps my favorite Gabriel-era Genesis album, and yet HtB sprinkles the 'cheese' big time...

ELP - For You and Pirates both pile on the cheese to Gorgonzola levels, but in an enjoyable way.

Just my opinion. Don't be upset. I said I like the song by the way. Wink
