That's like choosing between your mother or your father...you can't win either way.

Interesting poll!
And a good, close competition between the two.
For me, it has to be Rush.
Camel are good, but vocally they are weak.
Rush are in my top five all-time bands. So it's no contest.

Apples and Oranges. I voted for Camel, my third favourite band.

Rush for sure, but Camel are great too. At least Mirage is complete masterpiece.

Regarding power and capability to refurbish themselves while getting older, I appreciate Rush more. I love both bands, only I enjoy Rush more.
Kind regards.

Always up to your old tricks, I see .... Anyway, I have my doubts as to whether these two bands can really be compared, since they have very little in common. Obviously, I voted for Rush, who are one of my all-time favourite acts.

Camel has one of the worst vocalists in Prog, Rush the other one, some might say. Not me, however, as there are other singers I find just as, and in fact more, unappealing. I'm voting for Camel strictly for The Snow Goose due to its glorious lack of vocals. It's actually one of my favourite albums, It's close though, as Hemispheres is very good. I like both bands whilst not being exactly a fan of either.

I'm still unsure why people use the adjective 'interesting' in the same sentence as Camel. Camel made some nice undemanding melodic symph prog and arguably one masterpeice (Snow Goose). Rush have released many great albums constantly changing their style and embracing new ideas. They've also written some interesting semi political lyrics.
...so Rush by several thousand country miles.

Rush by far.
Camel (based on what I've heard by them) are very good, but I don't think they were as innovative as the other Classic Prog bands. They seem to me like classic Genesis and Caravan mixed together, though they are very good.
Rush is in the top 2 of my favorite bands, and I even like their late material, so they get my vote

Neither are close to being favorites for me, but I find Rush the better of the two.
