I seem to be loading the pages dreadfully slowly here today. It says at the bottom "loading pages from www.google-analytics.com". Any ideas whats going on here?

Me too, I guess this could be the bit of google that works out what adverts to display as they're linked to the content of the page.

Seems to have stopped now. The pages are loading very quickly. Before the page just "hang" for ages.

It has been happening to me lately. Sometimes it acts up and takes ages to get a page and then I get an error message telling me to contact a forum administer. I'll see if it pops up again.

It may not be related to the site, but to the route data from Google takes to get to you. I often experience similar problems, with one interesting one: when almost every site, including Google, seems unreachable, PA is there just fine - like a light in the dark....

Google analytics is a small script at the end of the page which collects statistics. It's a nice tool for website owners to keep track of who's visiting the pages ... which pages are most frequently used, on which pages do people enter or leave the website, where are visitors coming from, which browsers are used, which screen resolutions etc..
