Actually I thought he meant "Dog Tony" so I deliberately "acted thick". But..he didn't mean that anyway so it backfired.

Do you mean that those used to read everything backwards could pass it?

Is there a post Admins would like me to fill?
I listen to all the subgenres and can discuss any subgenre at length.
Have listned to an extensive amount of progressive rock everythin from Vashti
Bunyan to Tool.
I noticed Geck0 has only written three reviews yet managed to attain collaborator status.
That is the essence of this appeal. What would you like me to do?
Since, writing 30+ reviews seems no longer necessary.
I will write 30 reviews if you want me to though. Im just curious.
Im on the eve of my one year PA anniversary, Jan 17, and expect to be promoted
in due time.

Hehe, everybody expects to be promoted!
I already sent my prog reviewer "application" to Atkingani, but I'm not gonna start getting my hopes up yet though, because I'm sure 200 other people have as well.
At least I know I write quality reviews

Seriously you sent one already? I haven't even thought of going that far. I just do what I normally do, review, post x 50 per day, and review (again).

Yeah, but I sent it in because I dont' really feel like there are certain quotas that I need to hit. I post a few times a day and review when I feel that I completely grasp an album. that's what ti should be about, quality, not quantity.

Being promoted to PR/Collab is not a right, it is an honour.
You should not canvas openly for promotion in the forums, rather let your worth to the site or your reviews speak for themselves.
One way to get noticed is to review albums that hardly have any reviews. Good reviews of these albums is guaranteed to get you noticed by our Reviews Admins.

It's the best thing to choose to do (can't express this more eloquently for some reason, but you get the idea).

In fact, we are all collaborators.
There's also a specific title of Collaborator, meaning these guys/girls are doing a technical job, mainly with the genre teams. Once they give up being a Collaborator they'll return to Senior Member status unless they are qualified to be Prog Reviewers. The same may apply to SC but in this case if they are "old" enough and had contributed hugely for the site, in the past, they may become Honorary Collaborators.
I have a list of all people that applied to be Prog Reviewers and also others that did not apply but we verify they're doing a fine job - some visit PA forums very seldom. Only one PM to me (or any other Admin fellow) is enough to add the name to the mentioned list.

Honestly, a few months after I joined (out of curiosity only), I asked a SC what the requirements were. I never brought it up after that. Several months later, I was invited to join the Symphonic team.

Sure I sent something to Atkingani, but I know I have to pay my dues first by posting some more and adding more reviews/bands/albums to the site. As long as I'm helping the website out, It doesn't make a difference to me what my title is.
