For me it's a big surprise listening to such an outragious and unfoundable accusation by you Trickster. I started to participate in progarchives as an official prog reviewer 2 years before you did, so I can't see how you know me so much to profer such serious attacks. I had my own reasons for not posting or making reviews for such a long time, and I don't need to give you those explanations. I will give them immediately to the site administrators, if they request. If I want to post reviews, I post them, could it be 1, 2 or 5 stars! No problem at all! I have no need in creating a paralel character. I see no purpose on that. And in some pshycospace album reviews, by the way, I have them reviewed to, and you'll see that, at least in one, I have a totally opposite opinion.

In fact, I respected you and still want to respect you. Your reviews, in my view, are very correct, the other day I was glad to see, for instance, that you were the only reviewer to state that Flower King's new album was regressive.

Hope this is no more than a misunderstanding. Cheers.

I, myself gave Flash Gordon 4 stars, and Atom Heart Mother is not to everyones tastes, not even to Pink Floyds! (Well Gilmour anyway)

Nothing properly with the ratings but more with the pattern, SD... I still believe this guy does not like prog at all.

Otherwise, I'm writing it here in the hope he sees it (as a visitor), do the registration and may come here to discuss their own reviews and the comments made. Tongue

I think he was only kidding, TRotz, however Trickster may post here and put things clearly to avoid misunderstandings.

Actuallly.......

PINK FLOYD — Atom Heart Mother

Review by psychospaces

1 stars I've read some reviews saying that this album is weird. Those people are right. Atom Heart Mother is not only weird is incoherent, lacking any meaningful theme, and displaying little or no direction. All of the band members think Atom Heart Mother Suite and Alan's Psychadelic Breakfast are experimental rubbish. Yes i agree with them. This one is for completionists and fans only, but don't expect to listen to it much, it's something you can show to friends and have them laugh at the cows on the cover.

LOL.....come on, thats quite funny.

We have a new one to add.

ARENA — Contagion
Review by psychospaces

1 stars That's not to say that Arena couldn't write a good song but all the band is a joke. John Mitchell playing heavy riffs with the dated angelic choir keyboard on every song when the riff´s kick in. A good singer like Rod Sowden that sistematicaly insists on singing with that Shakespearean theatric ridiculous tone, etc, etc. This is just to bad to be real, and the only reason for this being so bad is that Arena wanted to write a satirical caricature of a neo progressive rock album and yes! they accomplished it very well.

Overall after four years this album sounds extremely out of date and quite unlistenable.

_________

now he's done it, very clear he only wants the attention and has no respect for the artists he reviews.

the reviews in itself are in line with the guidelines, but I think he crosses the line of objectivity over all his reviews. He's only here to raise a riot, so delete his reviews and see if he comes back complaining about it.

btw, wait a week before deleting, and don't give him notice, that's more silent.

He's giving 5-stars as well. Nevertheless, needs some medicine...

How come?!!Confused
Usually if you want to write a review you will certainly meet a proposition "You must be a forum member to post a review, please register here if you are not."
I couldn't find psychospaces among forum members. Now I hear he's not registered. Meaning it's not necessary to register. Why is it so? Why then you leave this sentence at all?
