really weird, and I still am, I guess haha,
though a large number of people think of me as a bad ass for my total lack of concern with material society and fasion (I wear what's comfortable, often that was blue jeans, loafers, and some silly t-shirt)

A nun once described me as The Antichrist because I fondled a girl's bottom at a school disco...
Dragged me out of the hall by my left ear....

Mostly they called me "Rideout."
I was me, not a stereotype.
I was different things to different people (teachers, friends, classmates, jocks, the invisible generic masses), I guess.

I only finished high school a few months ago actually. I think I was probably always viewed as an eccentric right the way through my school life, with my preference for anything with a 'cult' theme. I stuck by prog really, but I went through all kind of things like Spaghetti Westerns, Kung Fu films and my current obsession, cult British TV. I simply wouldn't accept that newer meant better.

I hang out with gamers mostly, but I don't play much games. I have friends from all walks of life.

Everyone at school says I'm weird, so I guess I am. I also claim to be Jesus, but I guess I'm not.

I don't know if I fit into any of those. But my group was a pretty unique one.

Among my friends, I was mainly known as the slightly weird guy who had tons of useless trivia in his head... Generally speaking though, I don't think we had that kind of "pigeon-holing" at my school - I had friends from all kinds of social circles; we didn't give it much thought.

Although I would agree, kids called me a hippie. Sometimes, I would be called a commie. I'm just glad that I could see right through them.
