Any examples of why they hate the site? I've always found it hard to believe that Lucas answers questions there but although I try to find fault it keeps turning up legitimate...

Because the guy is a huge liar.

Jody, I assume you mean the guy running the site, not Lucas?-- anything off the top of your head? He does seem to be a bit liberal with his terminolgy.

The claims he makes about being Lucas' best buddy may be false but I haven't come across anything movie-based that has been obivous rubbish or ended up being unfounded.

Seems like a Coke v Pepsi issue to me....

All his claims concerning Lucas are bogus,GL refuted all of them.

Since I can't stand liars,I ignore that site,I don't really care what he has to say.

Sweet.

I wasn't aware that Lucas has called the site out.

I'll disregard it from now on.

So Lucas answering emails and the plot outlines are rubbish??

I remember I used to go to that site often until I realized that some of the plot outlines just can't be true. Anyone who doesn’t have the complete Star Wars fact file should go and find it...

As partial to fantasy SW fans are, would that reality be desirable; would you really want to be in that universe and live the life of a Jedi, padawan, Rebel pilot or Imperial officer-- or worse, a slave? Excitment and romance to be sure, but is not your normal life right here not better in mant ways?

What's the next important Star Wars project; animation, films/documentaries, maybe a cable series, anyone know?

It will never happen.

Would you really expect him to sell a multi-billion dollar franchise that he created and has SOLE rights to?

Depends how much the buyer is willing to pay. But you're right its a continuous way of making hundreds of millions of dollars a year without lifting a finger on his part.

Also..one thing you have to understand is that no film studios or other companies have their claws in the SW franchise.Lucas owns it all, even 100% of all merchandising because none of the film studios thought the first movie was going to do any good,so they basically let him have it all.

Right, he'll never sell it in that case.

I wonder if he sold the rights to Willow and if he did who would buy it?
