I'd have to say mine is either "Dancing With the Moonlight Knight" or "The Musical Box"
I'd have to pick the Musical Box though, he makes some really kick ass effects with his guitar :o
To put it as my friend Todd did, "Hackett's raping his guitar!"

Banks solo in In the cage is fantastic, and Hackett in Dancing with the moolit knight also!
The musical box solo from Hackett is kind of bad for me, he could have done it a lot better

There's a really fantastic guitar solo near the end of 'The Battle Of Epping Forest'. Relatively short but fabulously intricate. Obvious others include 'Firth Of Fifth', 'The Fountain Of Salmacis', 'Ripples' and Rutherford's overlooked contributions to 'Burning Rope', 'Many Too Many' and 'Cul De Sac'. Also, Anthony Phillips' stunning guitar solo in 'The Knife'.
As for keys, 'Firth Of Fifth', 'In The Cage', 'The Cinema Show', 'Seven Stones', 'Robbery Assault and Battery', 'The Lady Lies' and 'Apocalypse In 9/8' are Banks' best, imo.

I've always loved the way Firth Of Fifth goes from Rutherfords bass solo to Hacketts guitar solo seemlesly

I written it in another post but the guitar solo in The Lamia is majestic for choice of a better word. As far as keyboards go: the piano break in Mad Man Moon is so underrated...

The Banks solo in Down and Out, from And There Were Three is one of the last good solos and maybe the best.

FIRTH OF FIFTH solo is my favorite solo from all Genesis carreer. Obviously there are many other great ones:
- The guitar solo in "The Knife"
- The excellent performance in "The Cinema Show"
- The wonderful contribution of Hackett in "One for the vine"
- The arrangements in "Duke's Travel / Duke's End"
and many other

Yes, indeed, if you are talking guitar solos from Steve Hackett - both
of those are classic. Another superb one is his 'bowing' action
on the solo in "The Return of the Giant Hogweed." While Jimmy
Page used a real bow in Zeppelin live-concert footage I have seen,
footage of Hackett soloing on Hogweed shows him 'bowing' with his
guitar pick! The man has truly been incredible from day-one!
Now, for keyboard solos, Banks piano solo on "Fifth of Firth" would have to be the all-time favorite.
