because Howe isn't Fripp or Hackett yet tries and fails to be a great guitar-player

because Wakeman's keyboards are the cheese

because Relayer is their only 70's album I can stomach (Talk is the only "modern" one, FIY)

because I said so ! Tongue

(I have more but I don't want to make too many enemies on my very first day hereEmbarrassed)

Yes = green
Genesis = cream
Pink Floyd = Purple
King Crimson = Red (what an irony)
Frank Zappa = black

Howe isn't Fripp or hackett but he's Howe(Guitar player in this case is a personnal opinion) Howe bring a new sound to Yes. Is aggressive sound with acoustic guitar bring something, he also play classical guitar... His acoustic solo work are improvement for many guitarist.. is jazz work with some musician are great (recently the album with Martin Taylor)

Wakeman is one of the best keyboard player of all time, (maybe is solo work demonstrate it more) is classical influence bring something to the band.

But it's your opinion:P and I respect that!

Contrary to blindtoad, I kind of agree with Stefanovic, except maybe concerning Yes (I do, however, think Howe is overrated, and I don't like his guitartone).

I actually like Relayer (maybe cause Moraz brought a lot to Yes and was a better keyboardist than Wakeman ever dreamed to be)... and I still have a wee bit of fun listening to the post-reformation albums (aka 90125/ Big Generator/Talk)... Smile

Oh, uh, er...

I just wanted an image of the devil horns to put next to anything that, in my humbled opinion, rocked heavily. As such, I believe this of ELP.

And it's Dio because...well, who else should be delivering that? Dio's the man.
