Wouldn't surprise me one bit if he did.

He'd probably release them in fullscreen and with the film playing upside down if he thought people would buy it.

Well our eyes see everything upside down anyway-- it's our brain that knows the difference.

So can someone explain the whole Sithidius thing? As far as I can tell, he was a Master Jedi who commisioned a clone Army that eventually caused the downfall of the Republic. So: who was he? A dark lord in hiding? A well-intentioned Jedi? Was he in fact Darth Sidious? Did he really die? He seems like a significant character, but we only got tangential information on him.   And Peter; don't think I've forgotten you and your anti-Jediac imagery...you've ruined my life.

Palpatine is Darth Sidious, and Sidious was never a Jedi.He was trained as a Dark Lord of the Sith(killed his own Master too). The reason he could stand next to powerful Jedi like Windu and Yoda and them not have a clue as to who he was or what he was up to is that he is so powerful in the Dark Side that it actually clouds the Jedi's perception in the Force.

And as far as the movies are concerned, and George Lucas has already explained that even though there is a huge Star Wars EU that the movies are CANON,The Emperor died by Darth Vader's hand. But in books and comics he actually lived, and Luke had to battle the reborn Emperor again.

Yes, yes, I know-- but then who was the dead Jedi who commissioned the clone army from Camino, the one Ben speaks of in AotC?

So why didn't R2 use his little jets in Episodes 4, 5, and 6? I speculate it is due to the sliding impact he receives during the Grievous battle early in RotS. Any thoughts?
