The Complete Go Sessions have just been issued on CD. Space rock/fusion. Sounds like Tangerine Dream with Steve Winwood, Michael Shrieve and Al Di Meola guesting. Really awsome stuff recorded in 1976-77. Go! (1976), Go! Live (2lp) 1976, Go Too (1977). Anyone beside me think this ought to be added?

Hi Walker,

I've said it before somewhere in these forums (probably more than once!), but what the heck: yes; I agree with you.

KLAUS SCHULZE was in GO at some point, wasn't he?

While we're at it, why not add ISAO TOMITA too? I know he 'just' rehashed the Classics electronically, but he sounds good too (and anyway, I like synths!) Come to think of it, I've also said that before somewhere in these forums.

Welcome, by the way.

Yes, I neglected to mention him for some reason when I left the original post. He played on all 3 "Go" albums. I don't know about Tomita as I've never heard any of his music. Thanks for the welcome, by the way!

Post a link to the distributor, please.

I'd say they are worthy of inclusion.

I bought mine thru Amazon.com. Here is a link to their page on the item:

http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B0008FHP46/qid =1117726023/sr=8-1/ref=pd_csp_1/002-0423606-2227259?v=glance &s=music&n=507846

By the way, pay no attention to the reviewer on the Amazon site who says the live tracks sound terrible. They sound just fine to me! (the reviewer suggests they sound like 70's bootleg quality. I have heard these tracks and I don't know what he was smoking!)

In solo, Stomu Yamashta is a boring new age composer...he can only make music for relaxation's carpet and commercial movies...I only like his effort in the space rock Far East Family band, GO is not bad at all

Go and Go Live From Paris are decent albums (although too little Schulze "element" is in these Yamash'ta albums),but Go Too is a complete desaster...

I bought just because Schulze collaborated...Not so important albums IMO...I'm not a fan of Yamash'ta...
