Prog band's have the coolest names... but it's not that easy to come up with a good one, I suppose.
If you have to come up with a name for a prog band what would it be?

Mybe this is a non music-prog lounge thread... I suppose our "police department" will move it very soon...
BTW, I'd say
DEINDE CENTUM
who knows the meaning...?

I won't give mine away, someone might steal it. I can give you a hint
though: It's the same as the name of a painting by the Belgian artist
James Ensor. You will have to guess which painting yourselves.

Tony Levin has a generous list of available band names posted on his website. Check it out and write them down.

I've always wanted to name my band Gershwin
Because Gershwin's cool and it's a funny name. And it would be neat to go on stage and say, "Hi, we're Gershwin!" |

My band is going to revive the art of heavy wood, and it shall be called "Fable." Well, I thought of the name, so who knows where an undiscovered Robert Fripp and/or Rick Wakeman are, cause I need some backup here! |
