i wish i had prog rock friends, well at least prog rock friends that i could get to sit down for an hour or two or three a night per week to get baked and listen to prog, but nope,

The Mars Volta - De-loused in the Comatorium (will do for starters. If it works well, listen to the other two albums).
Queensrÿche - Operation: Mindcrime (avoid part two, get only the first one)
Camel - Music Inspired by The Snowgoose
Gentle Giant - Three Friends
Magma - Mekanïk Destruktïw Kommandöh (If you feel like trying something different)
Riverside - Out of Myself (listen to Second Life Syndrome aswell if you like the first album)
Nemo - Prélude à la Ruine (If you know French)
