So basically what my friends and I do once a week is get a little ripped and listen to a concept album from start to finish, no interruptions, no cell phones, etc. It's really fun i suggest you guys try it with your friends. anyway I'm running out of full blown concept albums ala "Into the Electric Castle", "Dark Side of the Moon", "Edgar Alan Poe (tales of mystery and Imagination)"
what are some other concept albums to use? |
- Kevin Gilbert - The Shaming of the True
- Peter Hammill - The Fall of the House of Usher
- Shadow Gallery - Tyranny (+Room V)
- Symphony X - V

Into this wild Abyss the fiend
Stood on the brink of Hell and looked a while,
Pondering his Voyage.

Pure Reason Revolution - The Dark Third
The Mars Volta - De-loused in the Comatorium (will do for starters. If it works well, listen to the other two albums).
Queensrÿche - Operation: Mindcrime (avoid part two, get only the first one)
Camel - Music Inspired by The Snowgoose
Gentle Giant - Three Friends
Magma - Mekanïk Destruktïw Kommandöh (If you feel like trying something different)
Riverside - Out of Myself (listen to Second Life Syndrome aswell if you like the first album)
Nemo - Prélude à la Ruine (If you know French)
