Star Trek has always been way cooler than Star Wars. The fact that the recent Star Wars films have been so bad in comparison to the three originals emphasizes this point even more.

I rank Revenge of the Sith right alongside The Empire Strikes Back,which is the best Star Wars film of them all IMO.

Even though I REALLY dig the original Star Wars trilogy, I easily vote for Star Trek.  For the original series, The Next Generation, Voyager, and all ST movies (well, maybe except Star Trek V - The Final Frontier which I did not enjoy).

I'm deeply torn when it comes to this question; Star Trek is my first love but Lucas did something so extraordinary with Star Wars that, if I must choose, I guess it would be SW. Also, the newer TV Star Trek shows and movies bite the big one. Having said that, I see how much Lucas got from Roddenberry in addition to much other sci-fi and myth.
