¿What is it with people and getting a tan?... I have brown skin, but I avoid getting too much under the sun, because that "colour" you get are actually layers of dead skin. If you colour is white, stay white and don't burn your epidermis because of that weird tendency of mankind to overcook itself with solar energy. |
Yes, that's why austrians (of british origin, so pale carnation) have a lot of skin cancers due to overpowerful UV rays. Moreover, damaged ozone layer makes the sun more agressive.
This said, moderate sun exposition is good for health and a light tan makes (white) people look better.
It doesn't apply to you. |
Well, look better has never been my goal. Appart from that, while yes, it is healthy to see the sunlight because of circadian rythm or cycles or something like that, it is unhealthy stay still under the sun on purpose. More unhealthy if it is because of a look thing.

Some said that the sun has an infuence on hypophysis gland. Another theory says that we also absorb light through our knees

Here are some recent pictures from the latest Prog-Metal Specialist Team meeting:
I was 5 minutes late for the meeting, fortunately, to my surprise, the only person on the meeting was MikeEnRegalia. We discussed his website, ProgArchives and, of course, our new grim t-shirts.
Mike showed me his website's Ratingfreak's brand new earth-shattering feature, which somehow prints the data on the website and sends it to its users in a shape of a real magazine!(for a substantial fee, of course) Needless to say, I read the magazine with interest, the pictures were really cool.
Then Jody finally appeared(on his motorbike) and showed us his new accessories(bought from some obscure shop), which he promised to use for musical performance purposes exclusively. With three of us present, the Prog-Metal Team quickly went through the newest Prog-Metal band additions, rejecting Iron Maiden, Metallica, Megadeth and Black Sabbath, and making way for truly progressive artists such as Emperor and My Dying Bride.
Bryan, Tlossy and Tris finally arrived and that's when everyone started having fun, smoking dope and drinking ale, discussing In The Woods's debut album, Satan's panda farm, Dream Theater threads, quoting Tool and making Maudlin Of The Well references in the process.
Unfortunately, Tris and Bryan passed out from drinking way too much beer as things were starting to get out of control...
Moreover, Tlossy somehow damaged my hand in the created cacophony, and on that minor note we had to end the meeting...
