Salmacis every time...that was no real contest for me.

Now, if the other 'Fountains' had been by Starcastle, then the choice may have been tougher...

what about the fountains of Trafalgar Square??LOLthey my favourite fountains, i was there last Thursday cooling down in the spray on a very hot day!!!

The Fountain of Lamneth. The first prog song I heard, so I have a special relation to it. It's still my favourite prog epic. Smile

Oddly enough, whether planned by Rush or just by coincidence, each of these two songs is the final song of each respective band's third album! Weird, huh?

Anyways, I go for The Fountain Of Lamneth, as I'm a bigger Rush fan than Genesis, though Fountain of Salmacis is great too!

Interesting, both came on the album before their respective band's best. Salmacis is the easy winner, though.
