This is a new band and it isn't really psychedelic, but its loud, electric and as ballsy as a metal head (in the sense of energy and pompousity of course). Oh, and they are an instrumental band.

At risk of sounding monomaniac; I think some Residents Albums would fit the "Balls" requirement. The titles are:

1.- 12 Days of Brumalia.
2.- WB:RMX.
3.- Mole Show.

Off course, they are listed as Avant prog or something like that, but they are very agressive and their latest albums are definitely oriented to electronic as it is perceived today. And 12 days of brumalia is a Masterpiece of mix resources.

Squarepusher's more avant-electro-acid jazz, so that may not scratch that itch for you, then.

Hmmm, I'll think on this more, and get back to you.

They are slightly cheesy,I admit.

"balls" as in agressive or some sort of pummeling sound punishment

We have electronic elements, and we're progressive... we have no balls, though. LOL

I'm sure I'm beginning to sound like a broken record to many Wink... but if you haven't heard Ozric Tentacles, check 'em out. They're high energy rock with loads of synth and sample layers. they're more psychedelic than metal, though.

Dol Ammad and their album Star Tales.

They aren't here yet but have been cleared and I will be adding them soon.

Squarepusher?

actually when it comes to downright electronic balls, I sacrifice the prog and go straight for some Crystal Method or Paul Oakenfold. Embarrassed

What qualifies as "balls" in your book?
