Nothing. The others are either plain simple or plain horrible.

You've listen practically to the best of Cosmic Jokers.

Only for completists goes the rest.

well, the first is simply the best for the reason than the improvisations are perfectly made, it's built like two long linear themes with variations..."galactic supermarket" is less interesting, less immersive, the musicians are just playing if they were not together, the sound is confusion, moreover the synth parts are very "kitsch" (more figurative and less atmospheric)...the following albums are just compilations, notably taken from The Cosmic jokers but also different projects of the "Kaiser" for the kosmische couriers label.

Indeed. I haven't heard their debut, but Galactic Supermarket is a very impressive trippy album.

I can't call me a fan of Cosmic Jokers. I studied them of course given the side of Klaus Schulze. And mainly it didn't said much. All I'm saying is that whilst the ones Aaron listened are the notable references, the others go blind in a moderate to really mediocre position.

When I got my first Jokers release (Planeten Sit-in), I was expeting to it to be much more experimental from reading reviews, but it wasn't. Anyways, it's a great album nonetheless. I have Gilles Zeitschiff as well, but I don't like it as much. However, it's definitely interesting and not bad by any means.

I listened to Cosmic Jokers because of Klaus Schulze and Manuel Göttsching too.    then i discovered Sergius Golowin, Walter Wegmüller...
