It would be nice if all references to a band in an album review or band
description were hyperlinked to the respective band page.

There is.... click on the name of the band and album and it will take you to the album page and you can navigate from there to other albums or the Bio screen.

I don't think that's what dkearns means... not ALL bandnames are hyperlinks... Good idea by the way!

The confusion is the hyperlink to the bands web-site or the bands bio page here in the archives.
Which one?
Many of the Band web-site Links don't work.

Do you mean that EVERY mentioned band or artist should include a link to the bio site? In EVERY review? That would be a lot of work I think...just imagine how many reviews there are  But in general it's a good idea but I think that it's not possible...but maybe, maybe it is, I don't know I'm no expert...

It's certainly possible, and fixing the existing reviews is not
difficult, the real question is how to go about enabling it for
authoring reviews in the future. Maybe a wiki-like syntax would be
useful? Something like:
"Inspired by such prog rock bands
like [[Rush]] or [[ELP]], progressive metal appeared as a mix of prog rock,
which was very popular in the 70s, and 80s heavy metal."
