There are basically 2 different kinds of looks for male proggers: Young, frail, bespectacled and somewhat nerdy or middle-age, balding and a slight beer belly  (runs for cover).

Less of the frail, if y'please!

PS - I'll upload a picture of me later. My girlfriend's just been taking a picture of me with antlers so when I get the results I'll share it.

Ozzy is ugly? I certainly don't think he is. I've seen some pics from the seventies where he looks absolutely angelic!

Certainly middle-ageing but not balding and not nerdy

But done a few dozens of extra kilos, certainly (only partly beer-induced, too Wine And Cheeses I am afraid)

"Nerdy" is for the young ones only, Sean. Anyway, why complain about the "balding"? I am bald myself. Bald is sexy! (Envisioning all the men who will attend the meeting on March 18th to shave their heads now ).

not complaining

Both my grandfathers died with a headful of hair, so I am set for life on that side of things

But you two make a special pair, especially among women. Most women are not really attracted to bald males. At least the ones over 30 >>>>Not talking of this fad about men shaving it all off for looks (my guess most of those are men are already balding anyway)

But I have a two males friends who have been available recently not seeming to be able to get dates because of the lack of hair (they are far from ugly , although I am not a woman to judge on that part)

You have a point, but I'm a slight exception to that. young (28), not frail, spectacles occasionally when I need them and not too nerdy, anyway my wife loves me, so there must be something good about me amidst all the bad attributes I possess (she loves prog as well btw).

Damn, and I thought I was brutally handsome! Do you mind? I'm not balding! So what if I carried the glasses over from my youth!

I think I've always thought of my self as average minus, but that's sortof because my whole life Ive been hanging out with really good looking people... I think if I would have gone into a room full of real average people I would seem very good looking

I am 18yr old in this pic.

This is basically how I usually look: glasses, longish dark brown hair, smooth skin (considering I had severe acne in the past), and a big nose.

I'm slightly above average, but average overall, since I am a bit thin and I have small shoulders for a man.

The first one covers me pretty well, somewhat nerdy but not a full nerd, young and frail.  But I wear contacts.

I've got the young (does 28 count?) and bespectacled combined with the beer belly (which is somewhat more than slight).

But I only have one woman to impress, and she married me five years ago.  Now we're four months away from "extending" our family
