Not as kooky as the Mellowman, a DIY Mellotron made with 14 Walkmans and cassette tapes:

You gotta love this guy!! I was VERY impressed with his ingenuity. Granted, it wouldn't hold up on the road but very cool all the same! Who knew, the things you could do with extra Walkmans!
