From the Steve Howe website:

"February 1, 2006 - In conjunction with Asia's 25th anniversary the four original members--Steve, Geoff Downes, Carl Palmer, and John Wetton--plan on celebrating the 25th anniversary of the creation of Asia with a CD, DVD, and world tour.

The original members wish to convey their heartfelt thanks for the global support, love and enthusiasm that has made this possible. Stay tuned for updates."

I would really like to see a tour by the original band. Well, I love the 1st Asia album...

... but to be honest, I hate all the other albums...

This is like rebuilding the Hindenberg.

No. Really.

Asia was a sonic abortion.

Beyond miserable.

They should all be run over with a bus.

And I should be driving it.

This is really Jon Anderson's fault.

I mean, while 4/5th of the classic Yes line-up waits for him to finish up his ever-lasting gobstopper tour of quarter-finished unrehearsed songs, Howe, Squire, Wakeman and White are looking around for things to do.

And now - if this Asia reunion sticks - Howe will be out of the loop for a while. It's already been 5 years since the last Yes album, and with Anderson's blaise attitude, it's likely the death of the greatest band in prog history.

On the Carl Palmer website, he states that there is nothing settled about the possibility of an Asia Reunion tour. God, wasn't once bad enough.
