What is the worst epic ever written in your opinion?
I say "Ghostship" by SHADOW GALLERY.

Garden of Dreams by TFK.
Billed as a 60 minute rollicking prog epic, it is in fact about 20 short songs strung, spliced and segued together in a cackhanded fashion with a couple of cursory recurring themes to attempt to justify its "epic" status. 10/10 for initial ambition, 2/10 for effort, chaps.

I don't think that talking about what is not liked upsets anybody. It's just expressing one's opinion.
There's good and bad everywhere, also in prog. We all have our own tastes!
Anyway, "Ghostship" is found in SHADOW GALLERY's "Carved in Stone" album. I think it's their first release but I'm not sure.
The song is divided into a number of tracks, maybe 7 or 8. The first 2 or 3 are good, but then it's minutes and minutes of effects, noises, silence (!!!) .... just terrible.

Actually, 'Carved In Stone' is their second release,after the self-titled. I like 'Ghostship', sure it can be difficult to get into but there's so much about it that's awesome like the brilliant piano solo.Breathtaking!
