Sopwith Camel was a Westcoast band ,that had a similar fate as the Beau Brummels. They had succes with some 45's (In 1967 they had a big hit on their first record with 'Hello, Hello')and were completely ignored when they tried to make more interesting music. In 1972 they released their second record 'The miracolous hump returns from the moon'. This is a very interesting record, a mixture of Westcoast,Jazz-Rock and some world textures with original instrumentations and arrangements.
