Topic: New Neal Morse album... Posted: November 02 2005 at 01:13 |
Im listening to it right now, probably his best work yet... need to listen to it
a couple of more times to make my decision..
but hey, it has a great lineup Steve Hacket, Mike Portnoy, Alan White, Jordan
Rudess, Roine Stolt ....
Hacket sounds so good in this album, its incredible, ...its a concept album,
all the cd is one song....in doesnt sound like various songs with a theme in
common, its more of one song divided in chapters...
its really cool, i recommend it..

Dream Theater made me listen to Rush,Yes, ELP, Genesis.. That must count for something!

I've been listening to it for a month, and I think it is the best thing he has done since quitting the Beard.

I' m surprised! I also think it' s his best solo effort so far. I like to hear it.

I got it yesterday and have listened to it three times. I'm sorry to say that I'm disappointed. I think last year's "One" is better (but I was slightly disappointed with that album too). "Testimony" is still Morse's best effort, imho, very close to a master-piece.
Steve Hackett's guitar solo is perhaps the best moment on "?", but sounds a bit out of place.

I bought it couple of days ago and I'm quite enjoying it. Frankly I think it's
even better than most of his work on Spock's Beard, haven't heard his other
solo stuff so I can't compare it to them.
About four star album IMO.

This album i even better then "One", I love it! Probably the best CD of the year. I love the way it's built up and the brilliant finish.

Is "?" filled up with religious stuff? I like his material, but the religious things make it boring to me.

And above all, is punk
