^ I will add all the bands that you suggest to the list on the left side, and I'm sure that many of them will be added to the archives.

But please understand that I cannot speak for the archives ... I don't want people to think that I'm assuming control of the Prog Metal category of the archives. I only make suggestions and listen to other people's suggestions and try to organise them.

BTW: Tonight I will add some of the bands which haven been approven of by the collabs to the chart. There used to be a forum thread where people could suggest bands - this thread has been looked at and some of the bands were decided to be accepted. I'll mark those bands green and add them to the chart.

Stay tuned ... things are progressing behind the curtain.

And add Michael Romeo too pls

He had a solo album called "The Dark Chapter", before he founded Symphony X!

Nice to see that Edge of Sanity is likely to be included. Their Crimson (II) albums are very progressive in nature

Yes they are,but Crimson II has nothing on the original Crimson album, that album is absolutely brilliant.

I meant both Crimson albums actually , not only II.

It was of course a hard task to make another Crimson album that was equally challenging, but I think Swanö did a great job .

Quite nice album. Lots of soli of course, sometimes powerchords, arpeggios, tapping etc. At all a really nice solo cd!

Yes, it's Power Metal, but is it prog?

I know Wingdom, they just released their first album, Reality, which isn't bad at all. They're a Christian band, and their bass player is Alessandro Lotta (ex-Rhapsody.)

Well, it seems, especially today, the line between Prog and Power has really been stretched thin... I'll just call these bands Prog Power and I'll be fine
