I've only recently picked it up on disc, enjoy it alot too, it's kind of remote from Roundabout or Long Distance Runaround for sure, requires a relaxed open-minded state to get into it, just let it flow over you.

By the way, I forgot to mention:

The recent (last month) REMASTERED re-issue of Tales is a major upgrade over the previous editions, both in terms of sound quality and because of the inclusion of the original introduction<

I like all the early Yes music but this album is the one I listen to the least, not because Ilike it the least but because of the time it takes to listen to in it's entirety.

I don't have TFTO on disc, but my father owns the LP and I remember listening to it once...

I thought it was OK, but far less interesting than other music Yes made... But after hearing your (Corbets) opinion, I think I'll play it again soon.

the main reason i think ppl give it mixed reviews is cos its so demanding. At first i struggles to get into the first track but by track 2 i was hooked and then on the second play it all sounded even better. Great album if you have the time for it.

Tales 1st tune was pretty good,but the remaining 3 songs only had bits and pieces that were interesting to me. Overall I thought it was a mediocre effort and by the 4th song I get a headache...
