It's possible, but perhaps not a good idea

I don't like Black Metal bands who take the negativity seriously.

But reunion isn't just possible, it's officially announced. So I'd guess it's going to happen

There are a couple of bands that engage in burning churches, killing people ... that sort of thing. I'm not sure, but I think I read somewhere that Emperor used to do those things (or at least they were sympathetic to people who do that).

Yeah i think they were involved in church burnings, and the original drummer "Faust" was sent to prison for murdering a homosexual. He's just recently been released and is apparently quite reformed. He even left Dissection after a short time of joining them because he didn't want to be in a band with a satanic image.

Regardless of their personal doings i still enjoy the music.

They were  involwed in burnig churches but... that was when they relased their debut album In The Nightside Eclipse. Faust was sentenced for killing a homosexualist, Samoth went to prison for a couple of months for burning churches and things like that... Mortiis lost his intrest in black metal and started his solo ambient(disco-techno-ambient to be honest) project... So that left Ihsahn alone. After a couple gigs with Sverd and Hellhammer he decided that the new drummer will be Trym (Ensalved), new bass player will be Alver, the squad was finished when Samoth returned from prison. They recorded "Anthems To The Welkin At Dust" probably their best album and it has nothing to do with satanism and things like that. Alver left the band and wasn`t replaced - the band continued as trio and recorded two great albums before disbaning "IX Equlibrium" and "Prometheus: The Disciplne Of Fire And Demise" (my favorite) wchih have nothing to do with satanism or things like that. The lyrics became more like dark poetry and the music became more heavy/death/symphonic/ambient influenced.

Emperor's guitarist Samoth was involved in such things, yes.  Even more nutoriously, their ex-drummer Faust murdered a homosexual acquaintance.  Their ex-bassist Tchort (who has since gone on to form Green Carnation) was also in prison at some point during his membership with the band, though I can't remember why.

However, to dismiss them because of what some of them were involved with away from their musical career would be a massive mistake.  I'm by no means a fan of black metal, but Emperor was a brilliant band.  Their guitarist/vocalist/main songwriter Ihsahn has formed an incredible avant-garde prog band with his wife called Peccatum which really exposes his genius.  You should seriously give Emperor's final two albums a listen though.  IX Equilibrium is despised in black metal circles, but presents a powerful symphonic black metal sound (sort of like Dimmu Borgir without the unbearable cheesiness) with some absolutely fantastic riffs.  Prometheus (their swansong) is essentially an Ihsahn solo album, and is by far their most complex and (dare I say it?) progressive album.  By that point the black metal aspect of their music had pretty much entirely faded out, which could be viewed as either a good thing or a bad thing.  If you can withstand pure black metal, it doesn't get much better than In the Nightside Eclipse and Anthems to the Welkin at Dusk.  And don't worry about ridiculous satanic lyrics or anything of the sort, they abandoned that approach pretty early on.

If someone set fire to a church, done prison for it and now says it was a big mistake and now regrets it ... that's fine with me. But murdering someone is not something that I can put aside and say "I don't care as long as the music is brilliant".

I don't know what was the matter with Tchort ... apparently he went to prison for knife assault, burglary and desecration:

But that's only hear-say.
