^ Looks promising!

You have a good strategy in prog-imification, try to do it discreetly.  Slowly get rid out of the punk material, emphasize BLACK SABBATH and mostly your own compositions!

I play the bass and keyboards in my rockin' band Oddball (www.freewebs.com/oddballslp).  I also play the guitar and drums when the drummer and guitarist aren't present.  We're not prog (yet!), we play Weezer (), Led Zeppelin (), Black Sabbath (), some crappy emo (), some crappy punk (), some of our originals (), and some other stuff.  However, I am slowly and subliminally prog-imificating the band, so...  But shhh, don't tell the other guys!

I am the founder member of UK based AREA 39.

Bass player by trade but also do a little guitar work, editor, writer, producer.

I am keeping my eyes open for other new UK prog bands for possible live work together in 2006.

Well, i'm the bass player of a PRog-Metal band called Golgotha... But i also have my own side projects.

I'm starting an Avant-Prog Metal band called Lord Haacklar's Mnemosyne. I kinda do everything (Voices, Guitar, Bass, Drums, Keys, Flute, Accordion, Sitar, Cello, Harp, strange noises)

I'm a Man-Owl-Fish.

I just like playing with myself

I play lead/rhythm electric guitar for my band Dalonda (named after our drummer). We're not prog. Actually, we're more pop than anything.

Tried it again- failed again

Tried it for a thrid time- Guess what...it failed

So now i just play by myself or with whoever wants to.

I play guitar in a melodic death metal band  Not very prog, but we're damn good at melodic death metal

I would like to start up my own band sometime in the future and just play stuff i compose. Kind of a solo project i guess. My writing is not even close to death metal. Some metal moments, but i'm getting more and more jazzy. Haven't really settled into any style yet, but it seems a lot of stuff i write just has a really odd feeling to it. Strange chords and odd textural combinations.

Yes, I'm in a Jam band. But soon I'll be forming a progressive rock band. Anybody from London Ontario who plays prog guitar?

I play bass in a retro psychedelia band. We have even had few gigs, and some weird persons seemed to enjoy our music!

I used to be the lead singer and keyboard player in a band called The Mistake Museum
We did a lot of cover work (Elton John, The Beatles, Genesis, Emerson Lake & Palmer, King Crimson) plus a good deal of self-written material.

The group started as a trio, then developed into a foursome...then another foursome and then to the only two members which persisted through all revolving door process: the drum player and me!

We haven't performed much live...but we recorded a lot on a 8-tracks analog recorder!
Now I have gone solo and I record digitally on my home PC.
A flower?
