Simple question:

Is this album worth getting?

Thanks for the help

If you're a Tull fan, yes it is. It's got some great songs, and some of Martin Barre's best guitar work to date. In a way it might have been the last great Tull album. At least until "Crest of a Knave" came along.
The crux of the biscuit is the apostrophe.

Personally, I love it. It's like Songs from the Wood, but not quite as good and much darker. The remastered version has some great bounus tracks as well.

"Dark Ages" is absolutely brilliant. Easily my favorite track on that album, despite what everyone may say about "Dun Ringill."

Stormwatch is one of Tull's most overlooked albums IMO. It can be seen as a continuation of Songs From The Wood/Heavy Horses as there's a lot of acoustic instrumentation to the forefront, though the folk influences are less obvious on most of the somgs. The album does have rather a sombre feel because Tull bassist John Glasscock died during the recordings, and Ian Anderson added the bass parts to about two thirds of the tracks. Perhaps that's why it's a bit less popular, but it's still a prime slice of vintage Tull.

Couldn't have put it better myself. Under Wraps - now THERE'S an album you might want to think twice about.
