Rudess' solo stuff is indeed prog...

Go ahead and add him, there's no doubt he's prog.

I definitely feel that Rudess' solo work merits inclusion.

There's a real gem on his latest album Rhythm of Time: Insectsamongus. Great Zappa-esque song. Also various guest stars:

"Special guests on the new album are:
Joe Satriani, Steve Morse, Vinnie Moore (whose album, Time Odyssey was one of my first pro jobs), Greg Howe, Kip Winger and Daniel J (my protege) among others. Dave Larue will contribute bass guitar and my good friend Rod Morgenstein is back to play all the drums!"

Yeah. If John Petrucci and Derek Sherinian are here, so should Jordan Rudess be.

If all these keyboard guys are prog, and Schulze is prog, then Steve Roach
is definitely prog. He was even at NearFest once.

What do you mean "all these keyboard guys"?

Ryo Okumota (spelling?) is definitely, undoubtably, Progessive Rock!

Well, he's keyboard player, and so Rudess. And if Eno and Schulze are
prog, so is Roach. Just putting in a plug for my guy, since it just occurred
to me. Yours is prog, too, most definitively! Hell, everything and the
kitchen sink is getting declared prog these days. If a guy's made a prog
album that's undoubtably prog, let him in!

He's an ambient musician. He's released a heck of a lot of albums in
various ambient styles and is considered a giant of the genre.

I'd compare him to Klaus Schulze or Eno. Hence my plug.

He's been at it since the late 70s.
