King Crimson. You're an experimental musician who enjoys elements of all types of music. You prefer jamming over melody and you're a prog icon.
Haha, that was awesome. Great find, david.

Genesis. You're a musician that enjoys beautiful compositions. You're music tends to be sweeter sounding than Yes or Crimso, but you make up for it with a good instrumental ensemble.
sounds good!

My one problem is, I like melody, but as King Crimson I guess I would prefer jamming. I like both dammit!

Yeah, me too. A song should have a good melody and lots of jamming.

I also got Genesis. Which sorta fits, since my compositions are equal parts Genesis, 10CC, Supertramp, Klaatu and Elton John.
Peace.

Zappa/Rush. some things I was undecided and tried it both ways I'm a huge rush fanboy so that makes sense but I don't own a single Zappa album, I guess I should start.

David:
Your post got moved because it is not a discussion about prog music. And because this is, in a very real respect, "just for fun."
Peace.

And I think RObert Fripp thinks that himself. Even though it's said that he hates melody yatta yatta yatta, I think he knows to use it. That's why I love King Crimson.

Van Der Graaf Generator. You enjoy exploring the noisy sound of music. You like to look for a new type of sound through effects or other various electronic sourses. You're also a talented musician.

I enjoy VdGG very much, though I don't feel that kinda connection. Rather would've got either Genesis or Pink Floyd
