I always loved Italo-Westerns and had the occasion to see recently some rarer ones. The majority of the production is awful, but the few masterpieces are realy outstanding, good scenario and  good actors (Clint Eastwood,Thomas Millan, Lee van Cleef, Franco Nero and others)  My favourite ones are : Leone's  'Dollar trilogie', Corbucci's 'Il grande silenzio'  and Valeri's 'Days of anger'.

I chose "Once Upon A Time in West", but it was a difficult choice when "Il Grande Silenzio" is on the list too. There's many films on list thath I haven't seen though.

I had to go with The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly as my favorite spaghetti western

The dynamic duo of Terence Hill and Bud Spence were never better than in those gloriously stupid low budget westerns. Apparently the two actors spoke different languages, which must have made filming a bit of a challenge.

I am not real familiar with spaghetti westerns,I only know Leone's stuff. So I voted for The Good,The Bad and The Ugly.

Now if you would have done a poll for best western that would be The Magnificent Seven.period.

It's probably an unfair poll, because most of us will only know the Sergio Leone films..

I've gone for The West...absolutely superb...
