Wow!! This thread is still going - I am amazed. Obviously you DT Fans have nothing better to talk about. How about broadening your minds and listening to other Prog music, some - no - most of which is better structured and more listenable than DT. AND...before you flame me... I like DT when they are doing their side projects eg: LTE and Transatlantic. Much better than when they come together as DT - IMO

Just like a DT concert really - a guitar solo starts, you get bored and go to the bar for a few pints - when you get back, it's still going...

Yep. The Longest solos they've done was only 3 minutes, not long by any Progressive standards.

Not necessarily, sonce honestly, after a while, Jimmy Page really bored the
hell out of me, especially on the bbc sessions, which I consider one of my
favourite live recordings!
