Are you turning into

No - just trying to keep my posts simple enough that DT fanboys can read and understand them...

ha ha they are a simple bunch its from years of having their brains fryed by LaBrie's vocal frequencies.

Wow!! This thread is still going - I am amazed. Obviously you DT Fans have nothing better to talk about. How about broadening your minds and listening to other Prog music, some - no - most of which is better structured and more listenable than DT. AND...before you flame me... I like DT when they are doing their side projects eg: LTE and Transatlantic. Much better than when they come together as DT - IMO

Just like a DT concert really - a guitar solo starts, you get bored and go to the bar for a few pints - when you get back, it's still going...

I think you mean a Led Zepellin, a Deep Purple or UFO concert!

Yep. The Longest solos they've done was only 3 minutes, not long by any Progressive standards.

Not necessarily, sonce honestly, after a while, Jimmy Page really bored the
hell out of me, especially on the bbc sessions, which I consider one of my
favourite live recordings!

In that case I'll change "you" (meant generically, as in "one"), to a more specific "I".
