My vote goes to IQ. I'm so psyched about seeing them at NEARfest.

And I am not frightened of dying, any time will do, I
don't mind. Why should I be frightened of dying?
There's no reason for it, you've gotta go sometime.
I never said I was frightened of dying.

order of preference.

1. Arena
2. Marillion (Fish Era)
3. Pendragon
4. Marillion (Hogarth era)
5. IQ
6. Pallas
7. Jadis

I don't know Magenta, and Aragon, Only heard one album from Iluvatar, I remember I thought it was good, never bought it, maybe I will someday.

Other good bands Collage, Twelfth Night should have been in the Poll also

I very much voted for IQ in this poll... awesome.

Tuxon; might I suggest you buy Children (1995) or A Story Two Days Wide (1999) by Illuvatar; they are both great albums, although if you put Jadis at the bottom of your list (a crime in my book... get yourself a copy of the live album, 'When Daylight Fades' and hear the error of your ways), they may be a bit too light for you!

Music has always been a matter of energy to me. On some nights I believe that a car with the needle on empty can run 50 more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio. Hunter S Thompson

Because of the superb contagion album, and in lesser way Pepper's Ghost

Pendragon.

They're not really innovative, but I think they're fantastic.

I love The Jewel, Kow Tow, The Window Of Life And The Masquerade Overture, and even The Rest Of Pendragon and some songs on Somewhere In England.
