But they will know that already, and why be told the obvious? And people who have discovered Caveman Shoescore, and not the others (admittedly less likely), won't necessarily like those artists or albums - because musically they are some distance apart. BTW SD something in the post heading your way, that I said I'd let you have some weeks ago. Enjoy. |

I'm not sure its a useful feature either, but it is kind of interesting to see what other people like as well. As long as one knows it doesn't mean that it is similar! Thanks btw! |

Snowdog
Maybe we should be offered the choice: a) let the PA machine make up the recommendations, or at a click on the button, b) the reviewer is allowed to provide related choices - which I deliberably did at the end of the Caveman Shoescore review.
BTW please let me know when the PO delivers your end, to set up a private discussion. |

Lambertland is personal and long term favorite (bought it first in 1974), but musically quite different from Caveman Shoescore - I don't understand why the two albums are being related? My point: there is a danger if somebody likes Caveman, then if they are tempted to purchased one of the recommended albums there, that they will be disappointed because of the significant musical differences. |

^ Jeah, the categorizations are too rough to make exact recommendations. In addition of classifying a band, also their albums should be categorized; For example PINK FLOYD's "Piper at The Gates of Dawn" is psychedelia, but "Animals" should be something else, Art rock or you name it. But I think the feature is nice, though it should be developed to be better. I have found some nice new albums through it, but some disappointments too. |
