Now we see why we have a problem with ELP.....
I Love Genesis & Yes - But I don't think that everything they did was perfect - that is the perspective you should get by being a all round progressive rock fanatic - not just blinkered and VERY UNREASONABLE.
DT hit the high spots with Scenes and SDOIT but they didn't get anywhere near that level in most of their other stuff.....
Same as ELP - about 5% brilliant - 30% Good and the rest Garbage (IMHO)
....

About the same as genesis then!
|
I'd put Genesis at about a 35/25/40% ratio

What's perfect about Beethoven? Or even his keyboard instrument playing, for that matter?

Not much - he's dead for a start...

You've got to be kidding me.. there's nothing on Abacab that can even come close to as good as "An Officer and a Gentleman"... or "Canario" for that matter. Actually I would prefer to hear "Taste of my Love" over anything on Abacab...
What are you guys smoking???
And nope, I not irrational.. and I really mean it. Did any of you even get past the cover of Love Beach. Keith does some absolutely beautiful piano work on this.. as well as the gorgeous acoustic work from Greg...

No, let's have a battle between Radiohead lovers and Radiohead haters
instead. I think it will be much more violent, and therefore, much more
entertaining.

But Radiohead haters outnumber these Radiohead lovers I'm sure. The Radiohead fans would probably have machettis and Radiohead haters would probably get bazookas.
